How does this work?
- Your content is turned into a standard QR code (Model 2, ISO/IEC 18004) right in your browser.
- With a center mark on, the code uses High (H) error correction, which can recover about 30% of damaged or covered modules. The star covers well under that, so phones can still read it. Without a mark, Medium (M) is used for a smaller code.
- Modules under the star are cleared, and a 4-module quiet zone is kept around the edge, as the standard requires.
- Wi-Fi codes use the common
WIFI:T:…;S:…;P:…;;format; contacts use vCard 3.0; text and email use UTF-8. - Dark code on a light background scans best. The contrast check warns you if colors are too close or inverted.
